Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition Relaunched in India
Luxury SUV manufacturer Jeep India has reopened bookings for the Jeep Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition, marking its relaunch in the Indian market. The model was first introduced last year at ₹73.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
For MY2026, the special edition is now priced at ₹70.31 lakh (ex-showroom), making it nearly ₹3 lakh more affordable than last year’s version. While 30 units were allocated previously, the company has increased the allocation to 41 units this year.
What’s New in the Willys 41 Special Edition?
The new Willys 41 Special Edition is essentially an India-exclusive version of the Wrangler SUV. It is based on the top-of-the-line Rubicon trim and features primarily cosmetic upgrades along with exclusive accessories.
The highlight is the new ‘41 Green’ exterior paint, inspired by the military green shade seen on the original Willys Jeep. Buyers can also opt for White, Red, Black, and Blue paint options. A distinctive ‘1941’ hood decal pays tribute to the year the first military-spec Willys MB was produced.
Accessories and Optional Packages
The Wrangler Willys 41 Special Edition comes standard with accessories worth ₹2 lakh. These include powered side steps, new interior grab handles, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dashcams.
Additionally, for ₹3.6 lakh, customers can opt for extra accessories such as a roof carrier with an integrated side ladder and a Sunrider rooftop. Compared to last year’s version, this year’s optional accessories package is approximately ₹1 lakh more affordable.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the special edition Wrangler is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 272 hp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, along with a capable 4×4 drivetrain setup.
