Covid Cases In India: Active Cases Cross 4,000 Mark, Delhi Registers Relieving Drop | Check State-Wise Tally

Covid-19 Infection In India: Covid-19 infection is spreading across India as cases are on the rise. As per the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), active cases reached 4,026 till June 3.
A rise of 65 cases has been registered in the last 24 hours. Kerala, with 1,416 patients, has the most number of active cases, followed by Maharashtra and Gujarat with 494 and 397 cases, respectively.
Delhi and West Bengal have 393 and 372 active cases, respectively. Active cases in other states and UTs:

Covid Cases In India:Delhi, Kerala register decline
However, 9 states and union territories took a sigh of relief on Tuesday as they registered a decline in active cases.
Among them, Delhi registered the biggest decline of 90 active cases. On June 2, the cases in Delhi were 483. Kerala, which is reeling with the most number of cases, also saw a slight drop in active cases by 19.
Other states and UTs that registered a decline are: Uttar Pradesh (19), Maharashtra (12), Puducherry (11), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Andhra Pradesh (2), Madhya Pradesh (2), and Goa (2).
Covid Cases In India:Five Deaths
The highest rise in 24 hours was seen in Gujarat (59) and Karnataka (58). During the 24 hours ending at 8:00 am on June 3, the country logged five deaths with two in Maharashtra and one each in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
In Kerala, 80 years 80-year-old male with severe pneumonia died, while in Maharashtra, two females aged 73 years and 70 years died of the infection.
In Tamil Nadu, a 69-year-old female with type-2 Diabetes and Parkinson’s Disease died of the infection. In West Bengal, a 43-year-old woman with acute coronary syndrome, septic shock, acute kidney injury died of the covid-19.
