LIC launches two new savings plans and a critical illness health rider, effective July 4

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) announced the launch of two new life insurance savings plans along with a critical illness health rider, expanding its product portfolio for domestic customers.

The new offerings will be available from July 4, 2025, according to the company’s stock exchange filing.

The two savings plans are: LIC’s Nav Jeevan Shree, and LIC’s Nav Jeevan Shree – Single Premium. Both are non-linked, non-participating individual life savings plans designed to provide savings and protection benefits. The first plan is a regular premium plan, while the second is a single-premium option for policyholders seeking to make a one-time investment.

In addition, LIC has introduced LIC’s Critical Illness Health Rider, a non-linked, individual health rider that provides financial support in the event of diagnosis of specified critical illnesses. This rider can be attached to eligible base plans to enhance protection coverage.

These new products reflect LIC’s ongoing efforts to diversify its offerings, catering to evolving customer needs in both the life savings and health protection segments.

The new plans and rider will be available across LIC’s distribution channels in India starting July 4.
