Maalik:CBFC makes changes in Rajkummar Rao’s Maalik
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently completed the censor process for Maalik on July 4. As per the cut list, only two dialogues were modified by the CBFC. However, specific details about these changes were not disclosed.
Interestingly, one particular dialogue, “Lallan ghar chod dega tujhe”, was replaced at the behest of the Examining Committee (EC). While the dialogue itself appears innocuous on the surface, the context within the film may have prompted the board to request its replacement. Encouragingly for fans of action cinema, the CBFC did not demand any cuts to the visual content, allowing the filmmakers’ original vision for the high-octane sequences to remain intact.
