Eat this food before sleeping at night, the old cholesterol deposited in the blood vessels will dissolve quickly

The problem of cholesterol has now become common in every household. If ‘bad’ cholesterol or LDL gets deposited in the arteries, the risk of heart disease increases.
Many people take medicine regularly for this. However, not only medicine, but proper diet, especially dinner, can play an important role in controlling this problem.
Experts say that there are some foods that help reduce cholesterol when eaten at night.
- Almonds: Almonds do not mean peanuts. I mean almonds and walnuts. The healthy fats, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids present in them help reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol in the blood and increase ‘good’ cholesterol.
- Oats: You can eat a small amount of oats at dinner or before sleeping. It contains a soluble fiber called beta-glucan. It is very effective in removing cholesterol from the body.
- Garlic: Allicin, the main component in garlic, helps control cholesterol. Keeping one or two cloves of garlic on your feet while eating dinner can be beneficial. It is also helpful in controlling blood pressure.
- Pulses and beans: Pulses like lentils, chickpeas or kidney beans contain a lot of soluble fiber. This fiber binds cholesterol in the intestines and removes it from the body. As a result, the effect of bad cholesterol in the body is reduced to some extent.
- Spinach: Spinach and other types of green vegetables contain lutein and carotenoids. These elements prevent cholesterol from accumulating in the artery walls. As a result, the blood vessels remain clean.
- Fenugreek: Fenugreek is an invaluable gift of nature. Be it fenugreek seeds or leaves, both are beneficial for the body. It contains a compound called saponin, which prevents the absorption of cholesterol. Drinking water of fenugreek soaked overnight keeps cholesterol under control.
- Sea fish: Salmon, mackerel or Bengalis’ favourite hilsa fish contain large amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. This component helps in reducing triglycerides in the blood and keeping the heart healthy overall.
- Soybeans: Soy products like soy milk or tofu are known to reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol. Including them in your dinner can be beneficial for the body.
- Psyllium: Many people eat psyllium to relieve constipation. But did you know that it is also useful in reducing cholesterol? The dense soluble fiber present in it is an invaluable component in reducing cholesterol. Eating psyllium dissolved in water before sleeping at night improves digestion and helps in flushing out cholesterol from the body.
