Google Pixel 10, Vivo V60 and 3 more: Top smartphones to launch in August 2025

July is behind us, with a slew of smartphone launches from Samsung and Nothing. While August may not be quite as action-filled, it still has a few major launches worth looking forward to.
Google is taking the spotlight with its next-generation Pixel 10 lineup, set to arrive later this month. Vivo, Oppo, and Lava are also preparing to bring their latest offerings to India. So, whether it is a top-tier camera phone you want or a device with solid battery life, or just a new device for a change, there’s something for everyone this month, across price segments.
Here’s a quick look at the top smartphone launches in August 2025. The list includes the Google Pixel 10 series, Vivo V60 and more devices.
Google Pixel 10 series
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 10 series will launch globally on August 20, including in India. The lineup includes four models this year: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All four are expected to run on the new Tensor G5 processor, which is reportedly manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung, and could bring improvements to performance and efficiency.
The Pixel 10 is said to feature a 6.3-inch OLED screen, a triple rear camera setup: a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and, for the first time, a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL models may bump up the RAM to 16GB and come with bigger displays. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also rumoured to bump the size of the cover screen to 6.4 inches and also feature a larger battery than its predecessor.
Vivo V60
The Vivo V60 is set to launch in India on August 12. It will likely be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 from China, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and get a sizeable 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
On the back, the Vivo V60 may get a triple-camera setup with Zeiss optics, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is also said to be a 50-megapixel sensor.
Vivo Y400
The Vivo Y400 5G is set to launch in India on August 4. This mid-range device is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, IP68 and IP69 ratings for durability, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary camera on the back. Vivo is also said to be bringing a few AI tricks here, including AI Transcript Assist, Notes Summary, and a Circle to Search feature.
Powering the Vivo Y400 is a 6,000mAh battery, and it’s likely to support 90W charging. It will run on Android 15-based FuntouchOS, with Glam White and Olive Green colour options.
Oppo K13 Turbo series
Oppo is expected to introduce two new devices under the K13 Turbo series – the regular K13 Turbo and the K13 Turbo Pro. Both phones are rumoured to launch in India between August 11 and August 14. The devices are expected to feature 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays, 120Hz refresh rates, and a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits.
The Oppo K13 Turbo may run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Pro model could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Key specs include 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, a 16-megapixel front camera, a huge 7,000mAh battery, and support for 80W fast charging. The phones are expected to run ColorOS 15 atop Android 15.
Lava Agni 4
Indian smartphone maker Lava is also rumoured to be launching its next-generation flagship phone in India, dubbed the Lava Agni 4. The phone is said to ditch the mini-screen design of the Agni 3 and instead only feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz display on the front. The device is rumoured to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor paired with UFS 4.0 storage.
Going by the phone’s leaked renders, Lava seems to be focusing on keeping things simple with a flat-edge design and a dual-camera setup. The phone is also expected to feature a 7,000mAh battery under the hood, and come with a price tag of around Rs 25,000.
