Bengaluru Traffic Advisory Nov 19: Diversion Implemented As Congestion Likely Near Palace Grounds; Check Alternate Routes

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Bengaluru Residents are expected to witness severe bottlenecks near Palace Grounds tomorrow, on November 19, due to the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) at Krishna Vihara Gate number 01 inside Palace Grounds.
The city is set to witness major traffic restrictions as the event of KSPCB will begin from 7 am and will continue till 4 pm. The event is expected to draw a huge crowd, leading to traffic snarls in the city.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory Tomorrow: CM Among Dignitaries
As per the information provided by the Bengaluru traffic police, the programme will be held under the jurisdiction of the Sadashivanagar Traffic Police Station and the Chief Minister, Union and State Ministers, dignitaries, school and college students, and an estimated 80,000 people will attend the event.
Heavy traffic congestion is expected on the surrounding routes as nearly 2305 vehicles are likely to arrive at the event.

Authorities have shared a detailed advisory ahead of the event tomorrow. The following routes are expected to face Bengaluru Traffic Snarls on November 19.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Alternate Routes To Take On November 19
Here’s the list of alternate routes commuters can take tomorrow, on November 19, to avoid traffic.
Commuters going to the airport are advised to avoid Ballari Road and instead use – Old High Grounds Junction – Kalpana Junction – Old Udaya TV Junction – Cantonment Railway Station – Tannery Road – Nagawara – Airport.
– Travellers can opt for any of the following two options to move towards the City Centre from the Airport.
1 Hebbal – Left turn – Right at Nagawara Junction – Bamboo Bazaar – Queens Road – City
2 Hebbal Ring Road – Kuvempu Circle – Gorgunte Palya Junction – Left turn – Dr Rajkumar Road – City
– People moving towards the Airport from Yeshwanthpur are advised to take Mathikere Road – Right at BEL Circle – Airport via Ring Road.
– Commuters moving toward the city from Yeshwanthpur will have to move towards Dr Rajkumar Road to enter central Bengaluru.
Bengaluru Traffic Guideline On Wednesday: Heavy Vehicle Restricted
-Traffic officials will not allow heavy vehicles towards Ballari Road and must use the Outer Ring Road.
-As per the advisory, heavy vehicles from High Grounds will be diverted toward Kalpana Junction – Old Udaya TV Junction – Cantonment Railway Station – Tannery Road – Nagawara.
-Heavy vehicles heading toward CV Raman Road are banned at Yeshwanthpur
