Preparations Intensify for PM Modi’s Visit to Varanasi After Holi

Varanasi: Preparations have gathered pace amid indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, after Holi. According to sources, the Prime Minister is likely to arrive on March 8.

In view of the proposed visit, a team from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has reached Varanasi and is scheduled to hold a review meeting with local officials. The team will also inspect the progress of key central government projects underway in the region.

Review of Development Projects

Sources indicate that the PMO team will assess the on-ground status of various central schemes and development initiatives. These include major infrastructure works, urban development projects, and other significant government programs currently being implemented in the city.

With the possible visit approaching, the district administration and police department have been put on alert. Security arrangements are being planned in detail, and concerned departments have been directed to ensure that all ongoing works are up to date.

The Prime Minister’s visit is being seen as significant in terms of reviewing development projects and potentially announcing new initiatives for the region. However, an official schedule for the visit has yet to be released.
