Sunny Deol’s military drama crosses ₹300 crore mark, eyes ₹310 crore lifetime total

Border 2, headlined by Sunny Deol and co-starring Varun DhawanDiljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, recorded a drop of ₹45 lakh on its fourth Wednesday. With this, the film’s fourth-week total has reached ₹6 crore in six days and is expected to close the week at around ₹6.50 crore net.

The film’s overall India net collection now stands at approximately ₹302.50 crore. Based on current trends, the military action drama is likely to finish its theatrical run in the range of ₹305–310 crore net at the Hindi box office.

While this is an impressive and encouraging result, it still falls considerably short of Deol’s previous blockbuster, Gadar 2.

Backed by T-Series Films and JP FilmsBorder 2 has emerged as a hit. The film performed exceptionally well in North India. Rajasthan is nearing blockbuster status, while Delhi-UP and East Punjab delivered superhit business. However, Gujarat and the CPCI (Central India) circuit underperformed, where a stronger showing was expected from a Sunny Deol film.

Despite mixed regional performance, Border 2 stands as Sunny Deol’s second-highest-grossing film and marks a career-best performer for the rest of the cast.
