Box Office: PVR INOX to Distribute Dhurandhar 2 Across Four Key Indian Territories

Entertainment: Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is among the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead and directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action drama is all set for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Eid weekend. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to position it as a major festive blockbuster.

Backed by Jio Studios, the film has finalized a distribution deal with PVR INOX for four major Indian territories. According to reports, the country’s largest cinema chain will distribute the upcoming spy thriller in Central Provinces & Berar, Central India, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. Interestingly, PVR INOX had also handled the distribution of the first installment in these regions, including Rajasthan.

The original film turned out to be a historic blockbuster and became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time at the Indian box office, with a lifetime collection of approximately ₹787 crore. Notably, even after its digital release, the film continued to draw audiences to theatres with steady footfalls.

While the first part was not released in other languages, it still performed impressively in the South markets. This time, the sequel will also release in Tamil and Telugu-dubbed versions, which is expected to boost its reach and sales in those territories.

The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is set to clash at the box office with Yash’s gangster action drama Toxic. It will be interesting to see whether the sequel can replicate—or even surpass—the glory of the original film at the box office.
