Darshan Thoogudeepa to Make First Public Appearance on March 27- What Will He Say?

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who has largely remained away from public events since his jail term in the Renuka Swamy murder case, is set to make his first major appearance.

Apart from occasional social media messages, he has stayed out of the limelight. His last public event was the success meet of his film Kaatera. Now, Darshan will return to the stage in support of his close friend.

The actor is set to attend the promotional event of Vaamana, a film starring his longtime friend Dhanveer Gowda. The event is scheduled for March 27 at Prasanna Cinema, where Darshan will be the chief guest. A large turnout of fans is expected, making it a significant occasion.

This marks Darshan’s first public event since the Kaatera success meet, where he had spoken against producer Umapathy Srinivas. Shortly after, he was arrested in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case. Following his release, he made a brief appearance at a screening of Royal, a film directed by his brother, Dinakar Thoogudeepa. His presence at the Vaamana event has generated curiosity about what he might say on the occasion.

Dhanveer has been one of Darshan’s strongest supporters throughout his legal ordeal. Even when Darshan was in jail, apart from his family, Dhanveer was among the few who visited him. Since his release, Dhanveer has continued to stand by Darshan and support him. Now, in a gesture of gratitude and friendship, Darshan is set to grace the promotional event for Vaman.

The Vaamana grand trailer launch pre release event will be held on March 27 at 4 PM at Prasanna Cinema, drawing attention from fans and industry insiders alike.
