Development Is Possible Only Under BJP Rule: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister targets LDF-UDF alliance at Kerala rally

Kerala: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the development of Kerala is possible only under a BJP government, asserting that the state cannot progress under the present political alliances.

Addressing a BJP rally in Thiruvananthapuram, Shah said, “Communism has disappeared from most parts of the world, and in the same way, the Congress has been wiped out from across India. Kerala’s development is possible only under BJP rule.”

Taking a sharp dig at the LDF-UDF alliance, he said the coalition has caused unprecedented obstacles to the state’s progress. “Their alliance is based on corruption, and they go a step further by protecting corrupt elements,” Shah alleged.

Recalling the BJP’s struggle in the state, the Home Minister said it was difficult for the party to move forward in Kerala as it had no political power and relied solely on its committed workers. “Attempts were made to break our confidence, but BJP workers in Kerala stood firm and emerged stronger,” he said.

Shah asserted that the BJP’s sole resolve is to form a government in Kerala and protect the state from anti-national forces. “People know that neither the LDF nor the UDF can bring development to Kerala,” he added.

Concluding his address, Amit Shah said, “The day will come when Kerala will see a BJP Chief Minister.”
