Diljit Dosanjh’s witty response to Telangana’s ban on songs with alcohol, drugs in concert: changes lyrics from “daaru” to “coke”, watch

Diljit Dosanjh has criticised the Telangana government after receiving a notice prohibiting him from performing songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence at his Hyderabad concert.

Taking to Instagram, Team Dosanjh shared a video of the singer engaging with the audience during his show. In the video, Diljit pointed out that when international artists perform in India, there are no such restrictions, but when an Indian artist is involved, limitations are imposed.

Diljit can be seen saying, “woh jo marzi gaa k jaaye, jo marzi kare koi tension nahi hai. Lekin apna kalakaar ghar aa raha hai, usme tainu pareshani, taang adani hai. Par main bhi ek baat bata doon, Dosanjh ka rab hai, main nahi chhodunga”
