Force Motors to Deliver 2,900+ Gurkha Vehicles to Indian Defence Forces

Force Motors Limited has secured an order for 2,978 vehicles from the Indian Defence Forces, further strengthening its role in bolstering the country’s military mobility.Known for producing rugged and dependable vehicles, the company continues its long-standing association with the defence sector by supplying General Service Vehicles designed for tough operational demands.

Under the hood, the Gurkha is equipped with a more powerful 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz. This upgraded unit now produces 138bhp-an increase of 48bhp-along with 320Nm of torque. Power is distributed to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox, enhancing its off-road capability and performance.
