Historic Spiritual Gathering at Kamakhya Shakti Peeth: Thousands Chant “Jai Matangi” During the Divine Visit of Trikaldarshi Saint Dr. Prem Sai Maharaj Ji

Guwahati (Assam): In a grand and spiritually charged event, Dr. Prem Sai Maharaj Ji, the Trikaldarshi (knower of all three times), miraculous saint and Peethadheeshwar of Maa Matangi Divya Dham (Chhattisgarh), led a three-day Guru Purnima Mahotsav and Ten Mahavidya Tantric Fire Ritual (Yajna) at the sacred Maa Kamakhya Shakti Peeth from July 10 to July 12, 2025.

This occasion marked a historic first in Kamakhya’s modern spiritual history —
as for the first time ever, the arrival of a saint filled the temple complex with a crowd comparable to the grand Ambubachi Mela. Devotees flooded the premises from every direction, raising resonant chants of “Jai Maa Matangi,” “Jai Gurudev,” and “Kamakhya Shakti Ki Jai.”

Thousands of devotees from across India and abroad arrived to witness the divine presence of Dr. Prem Sai Maharaj Ji, who carried with him ancient palm-leaf tantric scriptures—rare Assamese mystical texts said to be thousands of years old, preserved through the Guru–Shishya tradition.

In a scene of rare spiritual depth, these sacred texts were taken ceremoniously into the Kamakhya temple premises for darshan, and devotees circumambulated the temple alongside them, creating an atmosphere rich with faith, energy, and ancient tantric vibrations.

The highlight of the festival was the Nighttime “Dash Mahavidya Yajna”, where all ten Mahavidyas, including Maa Matangi, were worshipped through precise Vedic and Tantric rituals.
As the sacred fire burned and mantras echoed through the night, the entire Kamakhya hill appeared bathed in divine presence.

Another deeply moving moment during the festival was when hundreds of devotees took spiritual initiation (Guru Deeksha) directly from Gurudev. This was not just a tradition, but a transformative moment — a conscious step onto the path of spiritual discipline and inner awakening.

The three-day event, organized by Maa Matangi Divya Dham, was not merely a celebration — it was a living example of how Guru Tattva (essence of the Guru), Tantric wisdom, and Bhakti (devotion) can come together in perfect harmony.

The rare confluence of ancient texts, divine presence, ritual power, and spiritual awakening made this event one that will be remembered for generations in both the tantric and bhakti traditions.
