Then your AC will consume more electricity. The electricity consumption will depend on how many hours you use the AC in a day. If you use a 5 star AC for 8 hours daily, then at the rate of 0.9 units per hour, your AC will consume 7.2 units of electricity daily. That means up to 216 units for 30 days in a month.

If you run your five star AC for 8 hours a day, then it will consume 7.2 units in a day and 216 units in a month. If the electricity bill in your area is Rs 7 per minute, then your bill for using the AC at the rate of 216 units will be Rs 1,512. Whereas if the AC consumes one full unit instead of 0.9 units.
