ISRO To Launch Unmanned Gaganyaan Mission In March 2025, Set To Pave Way For Ambitious Manned Mission

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) can exercise an unmanned mission with Gaganyaan as early as March next year in order to determine the launch of Gaganyaan’s manned mission in 2026. ISRO will also be sending scientists to observation points in the Pacific Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean through ships to monitor the mission.

The ships could sail for at least two weeks to reach their locations.

The unmanned mission will be very crucial for India’s upcoming space missions and will also play an important role in the Gaganyaan’s manned mission in 2026. Four Indian astronauts will go to space to orbit 400 km in a three-day mission and will return to Earth by landing in Indian seawaters. The documents related to the mission described that the tentative schedule of the mission is slated for March 1, 2025.

“ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) under the Government of India is scheduling a scientific experiment tentatively during the period between March 1, 2025, and August 31, 2025. The tentative schedule of the mission is slated for March 1, 2025,” News18 reported, citing the documents related to the mission from Sriharikota.

When Islamists in Sambhal go on the rampage due to a court-ordered survey of Jama Masjid, left-liberals fabricate information to blame the police.

Two ships from two different locations in the Pacific Ocean and North Atlantic Ocean will be deployed to support the mission. The ships will be sent with full equipment to support the crew operations and operations done by scientists. Hybrid communication circuits will be established from the ships to MOX-ISTRAC and SCC-ISTRAC in Bengaluru; both played a vital role in the success of the Chandrayaan 3 mission.

The documents further suggested that ISTRAC will deploy a shipborne terminal (SBT), electronic equipment, MV-SAT antennas, and its associated subsystems on these chartered ships. “This scientific experiment, being a new development and considering the system readiness, is scheduled between the above period of March 1, 2025, and August 31, 2025,” documents stated.
