Jharkhand Railway News: Raxaul-Hyderabad Express, Other Key Trains To Remain Cancelled In August, September | Check List

Railway News: The railways on Wednesday announced that several trains passing through Dhanbad station in Jharkhand will remain cancelled on various dates in August and September due to maintenance works.
While providing details, the authority stated that several key trains, including Malda Town-Surat, Raxaul-Hyderabad, Jasidih-Vasco da Gama Express, and multiple special trains operating between Hyderabad and Raxaul, will get cancelled.
It further stated that the trains will get cancelled due to remodelling of the Jharsuguda yard of the South Eastern Railway. The decision is likely to affect the passengers from several states, including Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. The authority has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and stay updated to avoid any inconveniences.
These trains will remain cancelled:
Train number 17007, the Charlapalli-Darbhanga Express, on August 26 and September 9
Train number 17008 Darbhanga-Charlapalli Express, August 29 and September 12
Train number 17005, the Hyderabad-Raxaul Express, on August 21 and 28
Train number 17006, the Raxaul-Hyderabad Express, on August 24 and 31
Train number 07051 Charlapalli-Raxaul Special on August 30
Train number 07052 Raxaul-Charlapalli Special on September 2
Train number 07005 Charlapalli-Raxaul Special on September 1
Train number 07006 Raxaul-Charlapalli Special on September 4
Train number 17321, the Vasco da Gama-Jasidih Express, on August 22
Train number 17322, the Jasidih-Vasco da Gama Express, on August 25
Train number 13425, the Malda Town-Surat Express, on September 6
Train number 13426, the Surat-Malda Town Express, on September 8
The authority stated that the decision was taken to give a boost to the railway’s infrastructure, adding that the trains will operate at the usual timings once the repair work is completed. The railway further stated that 89 track maintainers of the Dhanbad Railway Division will be given the responsibility of pointsmen. The administration has listed the names of the track maintainers and fixed the dates for the interviews in the month of August.
