“I’m not here with a begging bowl to say, ‘They should say sorry’. I want them to at least watch this movie and realise the mistake. Other things will flow automatically from their mouth. The apology is bound to happen, it will flow on its own. But I want them to watch this film. I want the British government and King Charles to watch this film. They should see what happened. The rest will follow automatically,” Akshay Kumar expresses, emphasizing his desire for the British to acknowledge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre’s severity through the lens of “Kesari Chapter 2.” His approach is not about seeking an apology but about fostering an understanding of the atrocities, hoping this awareness will naturally lead to an admission of the historical wrongdoing.
In his pursuit of justice, Akshay Kumar has made a specific appeal to the British authorities and King Charles, encouraging them to watch “Kesari Chapter 2.” This gesture is more than just an invitation to view a film; it’s an attempt to educate and provoke thought about a dark chapter in history. Kumar’s objective extends beyond seeking an apology; he aspires for a genuine recognition and understanding of the past injustices depicted in the movie. Through this, he hopes to initiate a natural process of acknowledgment and remorse for the events portrayed.
