Lado Lakshmi Yojana: Know eligibility, required documents, and other details to apply for this women-special scheme

While presenting the budget for the state, Haryana’s Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini earmarked Rs 5,000 crore for the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’.
Saini announced Rs 2.05 lakh crore tax-free Budget for 2025-26.
Lado Lakshmi Yojana is a women-special scheme in which women from below poverty line (BPL) will get Rs 2,100 per month which will help promote economic independence among women.
The initiative shows Haryana’s overall development by reducing poverty and increasing women’s economic engagement. It will help to raise the social status of women in Haryana. The women will get the money directly into their bank accounts.

Eligibility
– A woman should be above 18 years old.
– They should be under BPL status or
– They should belong to the economically weaker section
– A woman should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
– Their family members should not be government employees or income taxpayers.

How to apply
The application process for the Lado Lakshmi Scheme in Haryana will start in April 2025. Once the official website is functioning, applicants will most likely be able to submit their applications online, making it easier to obtain benefits. They can also submit applications offline.
