Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Review Son Vivaan Shah’s Inn Galiyon Mein: ‘Film Was Beyond…’
Actor Vivaan Shah is receiving rave reviews for his performance in Inn Galiyon Mein. The film is based on love and relationships in the era of social media.A special screening of the film was held recently, which was attended by veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, Vivaan’s parents. They lauded the film, saying it exceeded their expectations.
Inn Galiyon Mein pairs Vivaan with Avantika Dassani (Bhagyashree’s daughter), with Jaaved Jaaferi in a key role. Naseeruddin Shah praised the film and its concept. He said, “I wanted to like it because my son stars in it, along with my close friend, Jaaved Jaaferi. The film was beyond my expectations. I am very happy that the writer, director, and producer dared to make a film like this. My best wishes and prayers with the film’s team. It is essential that we watch the film.”
“Aajkal ka jo mahaul hain, ye film mohabbat ke baare mein baat karti hain (In today’s time, this film talks about love),” he added.
Ratna Pathak Shah, too, praised the film. She said, “The film surprised me completely. It moved me, kept me interested all throughout. It moves at its own pace and doesn’t seem stretched. It delivers a quintessential message that everyone must know. The message is important, sure, but it isn’t heavy on the mind.”
Meanwhile, Vivaan Shah started his film career with Farah Khan’s multi-starrer, Happy New Year. He played a key role alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani. Apart from this, he was a part of Bombay Velvet and Netflix series, A Suitable Boy.
