Netflix Drops Late Night Letter To 300 Million Subscribers, Here’s What It Reads

N
etflix has been the talk of the town lately due to the rumours surrounding its biggest ever acquisition deal to grab Warner Bros. Now, the OTT platform has officially issues a late night letter to more than 300 million subscribers saying, ‘nothing is changing today’ following the acquisition of Warner Bros.

Netflix issues the note after 24 hours of its announcement related to the acquisition of Warner Bros’ film, HBO, and HBO Max.

The email stated that both platforms will continue operating separately until the transaction closes. The time limit suggested by Netflix for the same is around twelve to eighteen months. Netflix Team wrote, ‘We have more steps to complete before the deal is closed, including regulatory and shareholder approvals. You’ll hear from us when we have more to share.’

What’s more is that the FAQs section on Netflix’s help centre suggested that the current membership plans will remain unchanged for both platforms. And the content from Warner Bros will not be immediately migrated to Netflix’s platform.

As of now, Netflix is facing a lot of resistance from different associations related to Hollywood in US. However, of the merger gets a greenflag, then Netflix will have access to some of the popular franchises in the world, like Friends, Stranger Things, Harry Potter, and a lot more to name. That being said, here, we are adding the Netflix letter that has been shared by the subscribers.
