Method to Prepare Holi Special Paan Drink
First, take 6–8 fresh betel leaves and remove their stems. Wash the leaves thoroughly 2–3 times with clean water. Tear them into small pieces by hand or chop them roughly with a knife.
Next, soak the cashews, almonds, and raisins in lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. After soaking, drain the water.
Now, add the chopped betel leaves, 2 tablespoons of gulkand, 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds, ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder, soaked cashews, almonds, raisins, and 3–4 tablespoons of chilled milk into a mixer jar. Blend the mixture well. If needed, add a little more milk to achieve a smooth consistency.
After that, add the remaining chilled milk, sugar as per taste, and saffron strands into the same jar. Blend again for 30–40 seconds until all the ingredients are well combined.
Strain the prepared mixture using a fine sieve or a muslin cloth. Add ice cubes to serving glasses, pour the chilled paan drink over the ice, and garnish with rose petals, finely chopped dry fruits, or a small betel leaf.
Serve cold and enjoy this refreshing Holi special drink with your family and guests!
