The Permanent Indus Commission will also stop sharing its annual reports with Pakistan, severely impacting Pakistan’s agriculture and irrigation plans.

Due to disruption in farming and agriculture, Pakistan could soon face a severe food shortage. A crisis in food grains would be extremely troubling for the country.
