Priyanka Gandhi Condemns ‘Cold-Blooded Murder’ Of Palestinians In Gaza, Says Israeli Govt Has ‘No Humanity’

Congress Lok Sabha MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra strongly condemned the Israeli government’s recent airstrikes in Gaza, describing the killing of over 400 Palestinians as “cold-blooded murder.” She stated that Israel’s actions demonstrate a lack of humanity and expose its leadership as “cowards.”
Priyanka Gandhi accused Western nations of ignoring their complicity in what she termed a “genocide” against the Palestinian people. She emphasised that despite official silence, conscientious individuals worldwide, including many Israelis, recognise the injustice being inflicted on Palestinians.

The offensive, ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shattered a ceasefire that had been in place since January. Reports indicate that the strikes were carried out after Hamas refused Israeli demands to modify the ceasefire terms.
Reaffirming her support for Palestine, Priyanka Gandhi praised the resilience of the Palestinian people despite ongoing suffering. She previously displayed her solidarity during Parliament’s Winter session by carrying a bag emblazoned with “Palestine.” The Congress leader has consistently spoken against Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Indian government expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Wednesday called for the release of all hostages and urged the continuation of humanitarian aid to civilians in the region.
“We are concerned at the situation in Gaza. It is important that all hostages are released. We also call for the supply of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza to be sustained,” the MEA statement read
