Raja Raghuvanshi Murder: Brother Points To Two Mangalsutras, Alleges Sonam Married Kushwaha Before Crime

Raja Raghuvanshi Murder: Fresh claims have surfaced in the murder case of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, with the victim’s elder brother alleging that Raja’s wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, may have secretly married her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha before Raja’s death.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanshi said that the family had learned about two mangalsutras being recovered by Meghalaya Police. “One was given to Sonam during her wedding with Raja on May 11. The other one could be connected to her marriage with Raj Kushwaha,” Vipin said, suggesting that the duo may have tied the knot while hiding in Indore after the murder.

Raja Raghuvanshi Murder:Raja went missing on May 23 while on his honeymoon in Meghalaya. His body was recovered from a deep gorge near a waterfall in Sohra (Cherrapunji) area of East Khasi Hills on June 2. Meghalaya Police arrested eight people, including Sonam and Kushwaha, in connection with the murder. All the accused are currently in judicial custody.

Vipin also criticised Sonam’s brother Govind, who had earlier visited the family home to apologise after her arrest. “Now he is speaking to the media, saying he wants to meet Sonam and help her legally. If he planned to do this, why did he come to us and act emotional? Their family has been misleading us,” Vipin alleged.
