Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina News: Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has moved the Supreme Court, seeking to club multiple FIRs lodged against him across India over his ‘sex with parents’ remark.
Advocate Abhinav Chandrachud mentioned the matter before the apex court, highlighting that Assam Police have summoned the YouTuber for today, February 14. Supreme Court said. that the date has already been given in the case.
The controversy around Ranveer Allahbadia’s comments on Samay Raina’s now-deleted YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ continues to dominate headlines. A delegation of advocates in Rajasthan’s Kota has submitted a complaint against YouTubers the “vulgar” remarks on the show.
Advocate Hemant Sharma said that the show’s episode, aired from Mumbai on February 9, featured extreme vulgarity in its presentation and dialogues, which, he claimed, could negatively impact students in Kota preparing for competitive exams.
Allahbadia, who has apologised for his comments dubbing it as a “lapse in judgement”, failed to appear in connection with a probe into his controversial comments. He was asked to remain present at Mumbai’s Khar police station on Friday.
