After expanding its Galaxy S series lineup this year, Samsung is now gearing up to introduce the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G in the coming months as the successors to the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35, which were introduced in India in March 2024. According to various leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G are expected to launch globally in March this year. Moreover, these devices are tipped to launch in Indian markets around the same time as well and we can expect to know the exact release date in the coming weeks.

The Galaxy A56 has appeared on the US FCC certification website, which gives us more information about the phone. According to the listing, the Galaxy A56 will come with One UI 7 right out of the box. A screenshot from the FCC certification shows the phone’s status screen showcasing the battery icon from One UI 7, which confirms that the phone will run on Samsung’s latest software.
Previously, both the FCC and earlier TENAA certifications confirmed that the device will support 45W wired fast charging and will feature a 4,905mAh rated battery. Many leaks have also tipped that the Galaxy A56 5G will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1580 processor. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A36 is expected to get a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC or a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and will run One UI 7 out of the box.
Earlier last month, X tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_) claimed that Galaxy A56’s 8GB and 12GB RAM option with 128GB storage will have a starting price tag of EUR 439 (roughly Rs 39,000). Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 5G could have a starting price of less than Rs 30,000.
