Wife of Iran’s Supreme Leader Dies from Injuries Sustained in Airstrike
Mansoureh Khojasteh Passes Away During Treatment After Reported US-Israeli Strike

Tehran: Mansoureh Khojasteh, the wife of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has died from injuries sustained during a reported US-Israeli airstrike, according to Iranian media outlets. The 78-year-old was said to have been critically injured in the attacks and passed away on Monday while undergoing medical treatment.
On February 28, the United States and Israel allegedly carried out coordinated airstrikes targeting Iran’s capital, Tehran, and surrounding areas. Reports claimed that bombs struck the residence of the Supreme Leader, resulting in the death of 84-year-old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The strikes reportedly also killed several members of his family, including his daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and other relatives, along with a military officer. Mansoureh Khojasteh, who was severely wounded in the attack, succumbed to her injuries on Monday.
She was the only wife of Ayatollah Khamenei, whom he married in 1964, and had remained largely out of public life throughout the decades.
