Yamaha introduces 10-year warranty for all made-in-India two-wheelers

Marking 40 years of operations in India, India Yamaha Motor has introduced a 10-year ‘Total Warranty’ program for its entire made-in-India range of motorcycles and scooters, setting a new standard in two-wheeler reliability and customer assurance.

The comprehensive warranty package includes a 2-year standard warranty and an 8-year extended warranty, covering key components like the engine, electricals, and Fuel Injection (Fi) system. This move aligns with Yamaha’s premium brand strategy and its commitment to offering long-term peace of mind to Indian consumers.

Under the new scheme, Yamaha’s hybrid scooters-Ray ZR Fi and Fascino 125 Fi-as well as the Aerox 155 Version S, will be covered up to 1,00,000 km. The entire locally manufactured motorcycle range, including the FZ series, R15, and MT-15, will be covered for up to 1,25,000 km.

Offered at no extra cost to new customers for a limited period, the extended warranty can later be availed at a nominal fee. Notably, the warranty is transferable to subsequent owners, enhancing resale value and reinforcing Yamaha’s confidence in its product durability.
