Yogi Adityanath Conducts Janata Darshan, Takes Up 250 Grievances in UP

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath met residents at the Gorakhnath Temple complex, listened to grievances, and pushed officials for strict action against fraud, especially scams involving overseas job promises.

Around 250 people from several districts attended the Janata Darshan. Yogi Adityanath also asked departments to move faster on recruitment drives, as the state government targets about two lakh new jobs before the 2027 Assembly elections.

During the interaction at the temple premises, Yogi Adityanath assured those present that every complaint would be examined and resolved. Officials were told to prioritise cases where people were cheated in the name of foreign employment. The chief minister stressed that departments must respond on time and that negligence in handling citizen grievances or pending service matters would not be tolerated.

Yogi Adityanath outreach and UP government jobs plan

The Uttar Pradesh government plans to provide about two lakh government jobs in 2026, the election year before the 2027 Assembly polls. These positions will cover recruitment processes announced in 2025 and those scheduled later. Learning from the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the administration is trying to connect more closely with young people and address employment concerns through faster, transparent recruitment.

To implement this hiring push, efforts have started to release advertisements for vacant posts through various recruitment bodies. These include the UP Public Service Commission, UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission, UP Education Services Selection Commission, and the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. The largest share of new posts is planned in the police and education departments, where many vacancies have accumulated across the state.

Yogi Adityanath public connect and UP government jobs drive

Yogi Adityanath recently chaired a high-level review meeting on recruitments in Uttar Pradesh. Departments were instructed to send detailed requisitions for all sanctioned but vacant posts to the relevant commission or board without delay. Officials were also asked to remove procedural bottlenecks so that recruitment calendars could be followed and selected candidates could join within clear timelines.

The chief minister’s office later amplified the Gorakhpur outreach on X, posting a detailed message on the government’s approach to citizen services and development. The post read, “When governance turns service into a resolve, then the state writes a new chapter of progress. For the past 8.5 years, Uttar Pradesh has been advancing on this journey of development, where governance is with the people, and the people have faith in the governance.

In this sequence, today chief minister Shri @myogiadityanath Ji Maharaj listened to the problems of people who came from various districts in the ‘Janata Darshan’ organised at the @GorakhnathMndr premises and gave instructions to the concerned officials for the prompt resolution of public problems.”

Addressing delegates, Yogi Adityanath underlined that Uttar Pradesh is now a revenue-surplus state and ranks among the top three states nationally. The chief minister highlighted recent religious events, tourism growth, and infrastructure upgrades while speaking to kidney specialists and health experts from across India.

During the conference, Yogi Adityanath said, “I have been told that more than 1700 delegates have registered for the event. This is one of the biggest conferences organised by SGPGI on Nephrology.
