MG Cyberster Sees Strong Initial Market Response; Waitlist Expands

JSW MG Motor India has announced impressive sales figures for its electric roadster, the MG Cyberster, which has crossed 350 units since its launch in July this year.
Owing to its strong demand, the company has confirmed a 4-5 month waiting period for new customers.
Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW MG Motor India, stated that the Cyberster’s rising popularity is driven by its striking design, strong performance, and unique roadster appeal – a rare combination in India’s EV market. He added that the company is currently focused on meeting existing demand while preparing for upcoming bookings.
The MG Cyberster is powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup delivering an impressive 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Key highlights include a soft-top roof, electric scissor doors, aerodynamic styling, active aero elements, Brembo front brakes with a claimed 33-metre braking distance from 100-0 km/h, and 20-inch staggered alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tyres. The Cyberster is priced at ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
With the Cyberster and the MG M9, JSW MG Motor India now positions itself as the second-largest brand in India’s luxury EV segment, signalling strong growth in the premium electric market.
