Technology:
Honor is reportedly gearing up to launch an affordable smartphone with a massive 10,000mAh battery. The phone has surfaced multiple times in leaks ahead of its official debut, and now its price details have also been revealed. The upcoming device is expected to be called the Honor X80 and could enter the smartphone market very soon.
Honor is said to be offering its largest-ever battery in the Honor X80. Such a huge battery capacity is rarely seen in the low- to mid-range smartphone segment, making this device stand out even before launch. Along with the massive battery, the phone is also expected to feature highly aggressive pricing, which could attract budget-conscious buyers.
According to leaks, the Honor X80’s price has surfaced ahead of launch. The phone is likely to be positioned as a low–mid-range device, with pricing details revealed by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station. The tipster shared key specifications of the Honor X80 and claimed that the phone will be priced around 1,000 yuan (approximately ₹12,000). This means users could get a power bank–like battery smartphone at a very affordable price.
In terms of display, the Honor X80 is expected to feature a 6.81-inch 1.5K flat LTPS display with rounded corners. The phone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 7-series chipset. According to the tipster, it will come with a low-power processor, possibly the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, focusing on efficiency rather than raw performance.
Recently, the Honor X80 was also spotted on China Quality Certification (CQC) listings, further confirming its existence. It is being speculated that the device could become one of the longest battery-life smartphones in its category. The phone is likely to appeal strongly to users who are tired of frequent charging, as well as those who spend long hours gaming or streaming content.
The CQC certification has also confirmed 5G connectivity on the device. With its massive battery, modern connectivity, and budget pricing, the Honor X80 could create fresh competition in the mid-range smartphone market, standing out as a phone that may not need a second charge even after a full day of heavy use.
