AI Summit 2026: AI That Finds Your Lost Items — Here’s How It Works

Swiss Tech Firm Showcases Smart Warehouse Solution Powered by Artificial Intelligence

AI Summit 2026: You may have heard a lot about AI (Artificial Intelligence), but now the technology is going a step further — helping you locate lost items quickly and efficiently.

Speaking to TV9 Bharatvarsh, Gagan, an executive from a Swiss technology company, said, “We tried to do something different. Sometimes when there are too many items stored together, a particular object gets lost. Finding it becomes a major problem. With AI, there’s no need to worry anymore — it can solve this problem for you.”

How Does It Work?

The system operates by first receiving a command. It runs on specially designed programming installed in a computer system connected to the machine. Once activated, the AI-powered device begins scanning and identifying the required item.

After processing the command, the machine searches through the stored goods and retrieves the specific object — returning it to the user efficiently.

From Metal Objects to Everyday Items

When asked about the time required to locate items, Tarun Shetty explained that the machine is equipped with three robotic arms. As soon as a command is given, the AI software activates and begins working according to its programming logic to find the requested object.

The system is capable of identifying and retrieving a wide range of materials — from metal components to various other stored products.

Where Is It Being Used?

According to Tarun Shetty, this AI-driven machine is being widely adopted at the corporate level. It is specifically designed for warehouse environments, where thousands of items are stored in one place and locating a particular product can be time-consuming.

With AI integration, warehouses can now quickly identify, locate, and retrieve items, significantly improving efficiency and reducing operational delays.

The innovation showcased at AI Summit 2026 highlights how artificial intelligence is moving beyond digital applications and transforming real-world logistics and storage management.
