Ayodhya, Mahakumbh Ka Ek Sandesh: Yogi’s New Slogan As Opposition Mocks CM’s Holy Dip
Ayodhya aur Mahakumbh ka ek hi sandesh, Ekta se akhand rahega ye desh’, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday gave a new slogan while addressing a rally in Milkipur, where bypolls will be held on February 5.The slogan in Hindi translates to: Both Ayodhya (where Ram Temple is situated) and Mahakumbh (the ongoing religious gathering in Prayagraj) have one message, unity will ensure integrity of our country.

The chief minister’s slogan comes days after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav mocked the state government for holding cabinet meeting at the Maha Kumbh site in Prayagraj.
“Kumbh or Prayagraj is not the place where politics or political decisions should be taken. Organising cabinet meetings at Kumbh is political. Many of us (Samajwadi party leaders) must have gone to take a holy dip but didn’t post a picture or tell you (media),” Yadav said.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla on Thursday slammed the SP leaders, saying that those who organized ‘naach-gana’ in Saifai ask why a Cabinet meeting was held at Mahakumbh. “We saw a Cabinet meeting was held at Mahakumbh and many big decisions were taken. But those who organize ‘naach-gana’ in Saifai ask why a Cabinet meeting was held at Mahakumbh. This is their dual character,” Poonawalla told ANI.Ayodhya
CM Yogi on Wednesday chaired a cabinet meeting at the Mahakumbh and approved significant schemes for the state. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that a discussion was also held regarding Ardha Kumbh which will be held in 2031. He added that the bridges, roads, hospitals and other development works will be done in Prayagraj.
Meanwhile, UP Congress president Ajay Rai alleged that the UP governmentindulged in corruption in the budget allocated for the Maha Kumbh and promised to reveal the facts and figures after the event.
“The government is misleading everyone by claiming large-scale preparations for the Maha Kumbh. The recent incidents of fire on the mela campus prove this point,” he said. Questioning the cabinet meeting held in Prayagraj, Rai said the state government turned the Maha Kumbh into an event by holding a “cabinet drama” at the sacred confluence of faith and spirituality.Ayodhya
