CSIR NET December 2024: Apply online now, deadline extended to January 2
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) December 2024 exam.Candidates who missed the earlier deadline now have until January 2, 2025, to apply via the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
As per the official notice issued on December 30, the deadline extension is intended to accommodate more aspiring candidates. Applicants are urged to register as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute technical issues. Submissions beyond the specified date will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The notice states, “In continuation of the Public Notice dated 09.12.2024 regarding online applications for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’, ‘Assistant Professor’, and ‘Ph.D. admissions’, the NTA has extended the last date for submission of applications to January 2, 2025.”
STEPS TO APPLY FOR CSIR NET DECEMBER 2024
- Visit the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the “CSIR UGC NET 2024 December Registration” link
- Complete the registration process to generate login credentials
- Log in using your application number and password
- Fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and submit the scanned images
- Pay the application fee, verify the details, and submit the form
- Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
