Apple’s biggest talking point of the iPhone 16 series was the Camera Control button. As the name suggests, it is a button – except Apple doesn’t call it a button – that allows you to control various camera settings without going into the camera app.
The feature has divided users with some going gaga over it whereas others feel that the button has little or limited use.Located on the side of the iPhone 16 series, the Camera Control button can be a bit annoying as there are times when you might end up pressing and launching it. Apple added a new Require Screen On feature for Camera Control in iOS 18.2. It’s useful if you often accidentally open the Camera app while your iPhone is in your pocket or bag. By requiring the screen to be on, you can reduce unwanted camera launches while still accessing it quickly.
Here are the steps to follow to avoid accidental presses:
- Head to the settings app on your iPhone 16
