ndian Railways is preparing to make your train travel even simpler with its new upcoming IRCTC Super App. The good part is that the new app is expected to combine several crucial services such as booking tickets, checking PNR status, tracking trains, and even ordering food-all in one place.
“Indian Railways is developing a passenger service-focused app. Passengers will be able to avail unreserved ticketing, lodge complaints, check train availability and many more functions in a single app,” Economic Times quoted Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
What’s new with the IRCTC Super App? It is developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) in partnership with IRCTC. It must be noted that several services like ticket booking, real-time train tracking, and complaint filing are managed by separate apps like Rail Madad, UTS, and IRCTC Rail Connect. The benefit of the new super app will be that it will streamline all of these services.
