Manmohan Singh Death News: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away at AIIMS Delhi on Thursday. He was 92. AIIMS Delhi informed about the development in its bulletin.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and top BJP leaders reached Dr Singh’s residence to pay their last respects to the “visionary leader” and architect of India’s economic reforms.

The Centre has announced a seven-day national mourning in honour of Dr Manmohan Singh ahead of a Cabinet meeting scheduled today at 11 am.

Condolences poured in from all ends of the spectrum. President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed condolences on the passing away of former PM Manmohan Singh.

PM Modi condoled the demise and said that the former PM rose from humble origins and made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives. Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed condolences and recalled the former PM’s contribution to the nation.
