Parliament Budget Session Day 5: PM Modi Attacks Congress Over Parivaarwad, Says ‘They Are All About Family’
Budget Session of Parliament Day 5 Updates: The Parliament Budget Session entered its fifth day on Thursday. The first part of the Budget Session is being held from January 31 to February 13 while the second part will be held between March 10 and April 4.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently addressing the Rajya Sabha since 4 pm today during the debate on Motion of Thanks to the President’s address. He had delivered his speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
Congress has given notice to move an adjournment motion, seeking a discussion on the manner in which the Indian nationals were deported from the US in its military aircraft.
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar issued a statement in Rajya Sabha at 2 pm over the deportation of illegal Indian migrants from the US. He also responded to the Opposition questions on the matter.
Both Houses were adjourned till 12 noon, following disruption and sloganeering by the Opposition over the deportation issue.The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha did not assemble on Wednesday as Delhi Assembly polls were scheduled for February 5.
