PM Modi at NDA meet takes a veiled dig at Rahul Gandhi: ‘He keeps on saying anything’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday gave a detailed briefing on Operation Sindoor, India’s military action against terror outfits in Pakistan, to NDA MPs.
This followed an intense debate on Operation Sindoor during the Monsoon Session of Parliament, initiated at the Opposition’s insistence. Prime Minister Modi remarked that the Opposition might now be regretting their demand for the discussion.
He said the Opposition was harming itself by raising questions on Operation Sindoor. “We want them to demand more such debates and we will gladly accept them. The entire country is witnessing their behaviour. Why should we stop them?” he said.
PM Modi also took a veiled dig at Congress leaders and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, highlighting the Supreme Court’s recent remark on the latter.
“He keeps saying anything. He often acts childishly and even the Supreme Court has reprimanded him. The entire country has seen their childishness,” PM Modi said.
He also hailed Home Minister Amit Shah, noting that he was now the longest serving Union Home Minister.
PM Modi receives warm welcome
PM Narendra Modi was welcomed with chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’, after the success of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, at the NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting. Union Defence Minister Amit Shah garlanded him amid warm applause by the NDA MPs.
Resolution on Operation Sindoor
A resolution was also passed on Operation Sindoor during the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting.
“The NDA Parliamentary Party paid tributes to the extraordinary bravery and steadfast dedication of our armed forces, who demonstrated exceptional heroism during both Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. Their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation stands as a powerful testament to their devotion and sacrifice. We solemnly honour and extend our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam” the resolution read.
“The Party also commends the exemplary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, whose firm resolve, visionary leadership, and decisive actions have not only guided the nation through these testing times but also reignited a collective sense of unity and national pride among all Indians,” it added.
