Wonderful Exercises: Diaphragmatic Breathing (Abdominal Breathing)
This exercise is also known as abdominal breathing. It involves fully engaging the abdomen while performing the breathing exercise. That is, complete breath control is done through the abdominal muscles, stomach, and diaphragm. Diaphragmatic breathing helps reduce heart rate and maintains normal blood pressure.
Procedure:
Lie down on the floor or bed in a relaxed position. Place a pillow under your head and knees. Relax your shoulder muscles. Place one hand on your abdomen and the other on your chest. Inhale through your nose for 2 seconds, paying attention to the air moving into your abdomen, and then exhale slowly through your mouth.
Wonderful Exercises: Pursed Lip Breathing
This breathing exercise helps expel trapped air from the lungs. First, inhale slowly through your nose, and then purse your lips to exhale the air slowly. When breathing becomes difficult, trapped air in the lungs escapes through the pursed lips, and fresh air enters the lungs.
Procedure:
Sit on the floor in a spacious area with your back straight. Place both hands on your abdomen. Inhale slowly through your nose, counting to one, two. Then, exhale slowly through your pursed lips over the course of 4 to 6 seconds.

Spirometer Exercise
Breathing exercises using a spirometer help improve lung function and control the production of acid that causes pneumonia. Sit in a relaxed position on your bed or chair.
