Ardh Kumbh 2027 Dates Announced: Haridwar To Hold 3-Month Grand Event, 4 Amrit Snan For First Time | Check Schedule

During the meeting, the dates for the grand religious fair were announced. The meeting was attended by Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of the All India Akhara Parishad Niranjani.

He said that the primary function of Akharas is to organise the Kumbh Mela, and the entire country is looking forward to the grand event in Haridwar.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the role of saints is crucial in organizing the Kumbh. All suggestions will be seriously considered and the fair arrangements will be made grand and well-organized.

He stated that the Kumbh Mela will be spectacular, and administrative preparations are progressing at a rapid pace.Chief Minister Dhami confirmed that the fair will begin on January 13, Makar Sankranti.

Four Amrit Snans for the first time

In the meeting with the Chief Minister, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (Akhara Parishad) announced the dates for the 10 major bathing ceremonies for the 2027 Ardh Kumbh Mela in Haridwar.

For the first time, four Amrit Snans (holy baths) have been scheduled during this grand festival, which will be held from January to April. This historic decision is being seen as a significant change to centuries-old traditions.
