Indian Boy Makes Guinness World Record. How? His Disease Helped
Ratlam, MP: Lalit of Nandletta, a small village in Madhya Pradesh, has once again come into the limelight. Now, Lalit’s name has been recorded in the Guinness World Record.
The reason for the name of the Guinness World Record is the long and thick hair on Lalit’s face and body. Sometimes people were afraid, teased him due to the hair covering his face. However, today after he has become the identity of the entire village, everyone is loving Lalit for making the name of the village popular across the globe.Lalit suffers from a disease due to which his face hair grows by 5 to 6 cm. 19 -year -old Lalit Patidar is suffering from Varvolf syndrome.
He lives in Nandleta village, 40 km from Ratlam district headquarters. Due to the abnormal hair growth, his face remains covered with golden hair. Due to this, Lalit has become famous as ‘Wolf Man’. And this hair has now made Lalit world famous after he made the world record was honored in ItalyLalit said that 2 years ago, the Guinness World Record team contacted him.
Then on February 8, Lalit along with his family partner Jitendra Patidar took flight to Italy. He stayed in the Milan city of Italy for 6 days. A team of experts examined him after which he was honoured with the Guinness World Record.According to the Guinness team, the lengthiest hair on a person’s face is 201.72/cm² and it was achieved by Lalit Patidar of India on February 13.
Lalit witness the growth of brown hair on his face and body due to the congenital disease. Surprsingy, many blogs have been written on Lalit and apart from various states and cities, people from across the world have come to meet him. Initially, Lalit had a problem with this but now, he wants to live like the way he is.Lalit said his parents told him when he was born, the doctor shaved his body because he had long hair on whole body.
He said it was whe nturned 6-7 years of age that he noticed the drastic growth of hair on his body. After a while, when I came out of the house, people used to throw stones at me, they would get scared that he would attack and bite them like a monkey or bear. It was then his parents took him to a doctor, and then the family came to know about the disease – hypertrichosis. Doctors said that there are only 50 people in the world who are having this this disease.
