Karnataka Crime:Marriage Troubles and Extramarital Affairs
Gajendra and Chaitra’s relationship had been strained for three years due to frequent arguments over minor issues. During this period, Chaitra reportedly had an affair with a man named Puneeth. Upon discovering this, Gajendra informed his in-laws, who attempted to mediate between the couple.
Despite efforts to resolve their issues, Chaitra started another affair with Shivu from Belur. Fearing her husband would uncover this new relationship, she allegedly decided to eliminate her family with Shivu’s help.

The police have arrested Chaitra and initiated an investigation into the matter. Her husband’s timely intervention prevented the poisoning attempt from succeeding. Authorities are now delving deeper into the case to gather more evidence.
This incident bears similarities to a notorious case in Kerala involving Jolly Joseph, who poisoned six family members over 14 years. Joseph was eventually apprehended for her crimes.
