Only a few days back, the makers of Sivakarthikeyan’s next announced SK 25 title as Parasakthi. Borrowed from the 1952 Tamil film title, Parasakthi is helmed by Sudha Kongara, and stars Ravi Mohan, Atharva Murali and Sreeleela in pivotal roles.While we know the film is about anti-oppression, and was first mounted with Suriya, here is the detailed plot of Parasakthi, for you.

Parasakthi, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in his maiden collaboration with Sudha Kongara, as we all know was first mounted with actor Suriya. After the Soorarai Pottru actor left the project due to reasons unknown, Sudha Kongara proceeded the film with Sivakarthikeyan.

As per the latest reports, Parasakthi will be set in the 1960s, to be precise in 1965. The film will talk about the anti-Hindi agitations that took place in Tamil Nadu. After a dear one of the protagonist faces the wrath of being rebellious and brave to stand up against the language imposition, a young man ignites a revolution against a corrupt politician who is aiding the linguistic oppression.

In all likeliness and as per the teaser, Ravi Mohan will be playing the primary antagonist, we will get to see Sivakarthikeyan versus Ravi Mohan for the first time onscreen. While Atharvaa and Sreeleela are pivotal to the films, Parasakthi is expected to be a yet another elevation in Sivakarthikeyan’s career.

Parasakthi release date

 The makers of the film have not yet announced the release date of the film. Sivakarthikeyan currently is working with AR Murugadoss for SK 23, co-starring Rukmini Vasanth.

Bankrolled by Dawn Pictures, Parasakthi has music by GV Prakash Kumar. It is to be noted that the title of the film was in a controversy after Vijay Antony too had announced the Telugu title of his upcoming film as Parashakthi. However, after discussions, the music director-actor paved way for Dawn Pictures to use the powerful title.
