Shreya Ghoshal’s X account hacked; Singer warns fans to avoid suspicious links

New Delhi: Singer Shreya Ghoshal on Saturday has informed her fans that her X account has been hacked since February 13, 2025.The singer took to her Instagram handle to update her followers, stating that despite multiple efforts, she has been unable to recover access to her account.

In an Instagram post, Ghoshal wrote, “Hello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried everything in my capacity to reach out to the X team. But there has been no response beyond a few auto-generated responses. I am unable to even delete my account since I can’t log in anymore.”

 

 

 

 

Singer warns fans against clicking links

Ghoshal also cautioned her fans against interacting with any posts from the compromised account. She stated that all messages and links shared from the hacked profile are spam and phishing attempts. She urged her followers to avoid clicking on any suspicious links or believing messages sent from her account.

The singer reassured her fans that she would personally update them through a video if her account was successfully recovered and deemed safe.

This incident comes as Shreya Ghoshal has been in the news for supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to combat obesity.

Earlier, the singer posted a video endorsing the Anti-Obesity campaign, stating, “Our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji has started a fantastic campaign called Anti-Obesity. It is the need of the hour as our country is rapidly growing and making its mark globally.”

Ghoshal was also nominated by Prime Minister Modi to join the initiative alongside actors Mohanlal, R. Madhavan, and Nirahua in the fight against obesity.
