Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 1: Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar is likely to witness his best premier in many years. Sky Force is estimated to have nearly Rs 11 crore box office collection on its opening day on January 24, making it Kumar’s best movie premiere in years.Also, the pre-sales of Sky Force has reportedly surpassed the pre-sales of the last five movies in which Akshay Kumar starred.

As per Sacnik’s latest update, as of now, Sky Force earned around 10.81 crore India net on its first day for all languages. Sky Force is expected to perform well on its first day at the box office.
Meanwhile, a Koimoi report highlighted that Sky Force has surpassed the pre-sales of the last five Akshay Kumar movies, including OMG 2 (90K), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (65K), Khel Khel Mein (29K), Mission Raniganj (11K), and Sarfira (10K). It added, “We will have to wait a few more hours to see whether the aerial drama manages to surpass them all in opening-day collections or not. The predictions have said that the movie might open to a number of around ₹10 crore and earn approximately ₹30 crore in the first weekend too.”
Furthermore, the latest box office collection figures of Sky Force have already surpassed the opening day collection of Rs 5.23 crore in Khel Khel Mein which was released on August 15, 2024, and also compared to Day 1 collection of Rs 2.50 crore by his Sarfira movie which released on July 12 last year.
Notably, Akshay Kumar-starred Bade Miyan Chote Miyan received a healthy response on Day 1 with a box office collection of Rs 16.07 crore. However, the movie was declared a flop. Further, the Singh Is King actor’s movie Mission Raniganj had only managed to grab Rs 2.80 crore box office collection on its release date on October 6, 2023. So far, Kumar has given four back-to-back flops in Indian cinema.
The last super-hit movie of Kumar was OMG 2, however, the box office collection of Day 1 in Sky Force has already surpassed the Day 1 collection of OMG 2 which was to the tune of Rs 10.26 crore on October 6, 2023.
From 2022 to 2024, Kumar was part of 10 movies, and from the total, only OMG 2 was declared has super-hit. Seven of them were flops including Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj, and Bachchhan Paandey. Moreover, 1 each was Disaster such as Selfiee and Average which was Ram Setu.Sky Force could be Akshay Kumar’s big comeback from the flops and average to disaster movies.
Sky Force is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language action drama film based on India’s attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, which marked India’s first airstrike. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya (in his acting debut) alongside Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, as per Wikipedia. The budget of the movie is about Rs 160 crore.
The directors of the movie are Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios are the producers of Sky Force.
