Ustaad Bhagat Singh OTT Release: When and Where to Watch Pawan Kalyan’s Action Film

Hyderabad: The much-awaited action entertainer Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Pawan Kalyan and directed by Harish Shankar is all set for its digital premiere.
After hitting theatres on March 19, 2026, the film will soon begin streaming on Netflix. Despite generating strong hype due to the successful collaboration of the actor-director duo in Gabbar Singh, the movie faced challenges at the box office amid tough competition.
Confirmed OTT Release Date
Netflix had acquired the streaming rights even before the theatrical release. While earlier reports suggested a mid-April premiere, it is now confirmed that the film will start streaming from April 23, 2026.
The release follows a standard five-week theatrical window. Although the film’s theatrical debut was preponed from March 26 to March 19, Netflix retained its original streaming schedule.
Box Office Performance and Competition
Despite a decent opening during the Ugadi weekend, the film struggled to maintain momentum. A major challenge came from Dhurandhar 2, which turned out to be a historic blockbuster, crossing ₹1,200 crore worldwide and even surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in North America.
In contrast, Ustaad Bhagat Singh reportedly earned around ₹70 crore net, falling short of industry expectations as its screen count declined rapidly.
Cast and Production Details
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers under Naveen Yerneni, the film features Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna in lead roles. Tamil actor R. Parthiban plays the antagonist.
The music includes a popular remix of the classic song “Ee Manase” from Tholi Prema.
While critics pointed out flaws in the script and screenplay, the film’s high-energy action sequences and Harish Shankar’s trademark dialogues have been appreciated by fans. Those who missed it in theatres are now eagerly waiting to see how the “Ustaad” performs on the OTT stage.
