Raipur to Host Three Women’s Bilateral Series Matches
India Women and Zimbabwe Women to Face Each Other for the First Time in ODI and T20 Bilateral Series
Raipur: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday, May 7, announced the schedule for the upcoming ODI and T20 series between the Indian Women’s Cricket Team and Zimbabwe Women (IND-W vs ZIM-W).
This will be the first-ever bilateral series between the Indian and Zimbabwe women’s cricket teams in international cricket. For the first time, both teams will compete against each other in ODI and T20 formats.
Zimbabwe Women’s team will tour India in October this year. The tour will begin with a three-match T20 series, with the first match scheduled to be played in Raipur on October 16. The second and third T20 matches will also be held in Raipur on October 18 and October 20 respectively.
Following the T20 series, India and Zimbabwe will play a three-match ODI series. All three ODI matches will be hosted in Vadodara. The first ODI will be played on October 23, the second on October 25, and the third and final ODI on October 28.
